STINT stands for Short Term INTernational(It is different from a summer project).
We offer several different overseas mission fields where you will be involved in creating dynamic ministries at the national level. On STINT you will be placed at an international university that offers firsthand experience in the mission field work.
On STINT you will:
- Work with local missionaries, churches and surrounding communities
- Learn the culture and language of your respective country through immersion and interaction
- Build lasting relationships with local students on their campuses. These friendships will in turn become a foundation for local students to share the love of Christ in a more powerful and effective way.
Furthermore, as you help establish new ministries and support existing ministries with the vision to see movements led by nationals, you will be directly involved in helping to fulfill the Great Commission in that country.
If you have any questions about the application process or just STINT in general, please contact Esther.Kim@cru.org
DID YOU KNOW?
There are a hundred million university students outside the borders of the United States and most of them have never heard about Jesus Christ. We believe that we stand at the threshold of a profound moment in history. As a generation, we can see the culmination of a global vision, for every person in the world to have at least one chance to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We are committed to building campus movements covering the entire world, movements that are staffed and led by national believers.
This must be our goal as visitors for nothing less is worth the effort. This means that our desire is to build up national leaders who will eventually replace us as the main working force, not only on the university campuses but also in the community as a whole.
